The fighters will be cut in half by an immediate elimination round of fights, and the remaining 14 fighters are the show’s official cast and two of the 14 fighters who lose in the first round get a another chance in the tournament’s second round as wild card picks. Now for the St Pierre and Koscheck, as a tradition of the Ultimate Fighter the coaches will battle it out after the show and the tradition will continue at UFC 124 . At UFC 74 these two met for the first time and St. Pierre controlled Koscheck for 3 rounds ending in a three-round unanimous-decision victory for Pierre. Koscheck is a very open individual and tends to talk trash, getting inside his opponents head, but in this second fight with St. Pierre he will have to do more than that. St Pierre is one of the calmest fighters in the UFC and has a skill level above everyone in the welterweight division. We will see if St Pierre can keep his calm, cool head during the verbal lashing he will receive on the show from Koscheck and in the days leading up to UFC 124.

Stevenson landed a big overhand right that looked to stun Danzig but the vegan warrior survived and responded with a crushing, one-punch knockout.
Koscheck (15-5) was released from a Montreal-area hospital Sunday afternoon, according to his trainer, Bob Cook. He cannot fly home to San Jose, Calif., because an air pocket formed behind the broken orbital bone, making air travel dangerous. UFC officials arranged for Koscheck and Cook to drive Sunday afternoon from Montreal to Boston, where the 33-year-old fighter is expected to undergo surgery Monday or Tuesday
